The Bahrain chess Academy opens its doors

We are very excited to announce the Official Opening of

The Bahrain Chess Academy !

Registration is now open for both Kids and Adults.

The Doors of the academy will be open this week to everyone !  

Sunday 2^nd of September till Sunday 9^th of September included

From 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Come to visit us and play some games !

Play against the Masters !

Two Simultaneous displays will be organised :

 Thursday 6^th and Friday 7^th of September 

in our local in Seef.

The games will start at 5 p.m

The registration is Free !

The only requirement is that the Players must confirm they participation 

by email : chessinbahrain@gmail.com or by calling the 39965432

 before the Wednesday 5^th of September 9:00 p.m 

Each simultaneous is limited to 15 Players!

The Masters are already waiting for you !

the Italian game was developed by alessandro Salvio  and giulio Polerio in the 15th century, today this variation is used successfully by the Moldavian grandmaster Viorel Bologan.

  3...Nf6 the two knights variation, the black knight attacks the white pawn on e4 but black gives the opportunity for white to jump with his knight on g5 threatening a fork on f7. 4.Ng5 attacking the pawn on f7. 4...d5 stopping the attack on f7. 5.exd5 Nxd5 

6.Nxf7! 

white is sacrificing a piece to bring the king into the center. [6.d4]

 6...Kxf7 7.Qf3+ giving check to the king and attacking the black knight on d5. 7...Ke6 the only move to protect the knight on d5. 8.Nc3 putting more pressure on the d5 square.
