Results of the 1^st  BCA Blitz Championship

The tournament has seen the participation of 24 players representing three country’s Bahrain, India and Philippines.

The participants had the chance to face some of the top players of Bahrain including the FIDE Master Janahi Zeyad and Al Sulaiti Ali who had been a permanent member of the Olympic team of Bahrain.

We would like to thank all the players, parents and the Bahrain chess Club represented by Mr Ammar Al shamsi for they help making this tournament a success.

We hope to see all of you very soon for another wonderful afternoon !

Date:
Friday 13 July 2012 and starts at 5 PM, ON TIME

Registration:

- Participation is open to all players.

- Maximum entries allowed 32 players.

- To enter send a sms with your name to 33266677

Registration closes Thursday 12 July 2012 at 8 p.m.

- Entry fee 2 BD for Kids and 3 BD for adults

 Free for members of Bahrain Chess Academy.

- Entry fee must be paid at the Bahrain Chess Academy before Thursday 12 July 2012 8.p.m; otherwise the player will not be included in the pairing.

Tournament System:

- Tournament will be based on the Swiss system, 7 rounds.

- Time control for each player is 5 minutes + 2 seconds per move.

- Pairing will be ready on Thursday night.

Prizes:

Trophies for the three winners and Medals for Kids categories

(U-16, 14, 12, 10, 8)
