Bahrain chess Academy opens its doors
We
are very excited to announce the Official Opening of
The
Bahrain Chess Academy !
Registration is now open for both Kids and Adults.
The Doors of the academy will be open this week to everyone !
Sunday 2nd of September till Sunday 9th of September included
From 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Come to visit us and play some games !
Play
against the Masters !
Two Simultaneous
displays will be organised :
Thursday 6th and Friday 7th
of September
in our local in Seef.
The games will start at 5 p.m
The
registration is Free !
The
only requirement is that the Players
must confirm they participation

before the Wednesday 5th of
September 9:00 p.m
Each simultaneous is limited
to 15 Players!

The Tournament was organized by Al Oroba Club (Juffair) in collaboration with the Bahrain Chess Federation.
58 players representing 4 Nations were competing.

by the Moldavian grandmaster Viorel Bologan.

Results
of the 2nd BCA Blitz Championship
The
tournament started at 10 p.m and has seen the participation of 17 players
representing two country’s Bahrain and India.
It was only at the last round
after Preetham managed to make a draw in an incredible game against Ali Hafed
and that Mohamed Sheer couldn't avoid a perpetual check against Ebrahim Burshaid that
FIDE Master Janahi Zeyad was declared the winner of the 2nd
BCA blitz Championship!
The
FIDE Master Janahi Zeyad won the tournament with 6 points out of 7 games
followed by Sher Mohamed and Hafed Ali with 5.5/7.
